Frequently asked questions

The app says VIES is unavailable

VIES is the European Commission service that queries each Member State's tax administration. When VIES or that country's administration does not respond, the app tells you so instead of giving a result: it does not mean the VAT number is invalid. It usually clears up within minutes or hours; please try again later. Some countries do not provide the name or address even when the number is valid.

You can check the service status on the official VIES website.

How do I delete my data?

In the app, go to Settings › Delete my data. The history on your device is deleted immediately and our server is asked to delete your installation and everything linked to it (analytics, recommendations, Pro record and pending reports or requests). If you are offline, it completes as soon as you reconnect.

This does not cancel your subscription or remove an email address you already gave us for contact or updates: use the unsubscribe link in our emails or write to info@consultoriaehero.com. Full details are in the privacy policy.

How do I cancel EHERO VAT Pro?

Your subscription is managed by the store you bought it from. Deleting your data or uninstalling the app does not cancel it. After you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period already paid.

iPhone or iPad (Apple): in the app, Settings › Manage subscription, or in your device Settings, tap your name (Apple Account) › Subscriptions › EHERO VAT Pro › Cancel Subscription. You can also use apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Android (Google Play): in the app, Settings › Manage subscription, or in the Google Play app, tap your profile picture › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › EHERO VAT Pro › Cancel subscription. You can also use play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Refunds are requested from Google Play.

I switched phones and Pro is missing

Open the app signed in to the same Apple or Google Play account you bought with: an active subscription is detected when the app opens. If it does not appear, use Restore purchases in Settings.

Are the results official?

No. The app is indicative only and does not replace professional tax advice: reduced rates and special cases require professional review, and the PDF record is not an official certificate.
